The only difference is storing 10 courses instead of 20 (do you ever play more than 10 courses before going back home). I received my GolfLogix via FREE shipping in 4 days. and not having the last shot distance capability. It works fine, as advertised, and the database of courses includes every one I have looked for. I think the '07 model is a good deal with a saving of $100 over the '08 model. Not worth another $100 to me. I am very pleased with the purchase.
Works great, Easy to read. GIves me so much more confidence on every shot. Is extremely accurate.
stop looking for yardage markers you have all you need nowyou can down load 10 courses at once. every course i want to play is listed.others you have to e mail and they will map for you this is not the case i cant imagine golf without it
Cons; The only real issue I have is battery replacement- about 3 rounds. I have found it to be a reliable performer.
Pros; It gives front, back, and middle green distances. I have used this all summer.
When accuracy is questionable yardage markers prevail, but those issues don't come up too often. It is accurate most of the time.
Courses get updated regularly, and it does speed up play. Now the question is, are you good enough to land those distances.
Otherwise, a very good product at a very good price
THE GOLFLOGIX 2007 SINCE I RECIEVED THE UNIT.I HAVE USED IT ON 4 GOLF COURSES.THE DISTANCE IS VERY TRUE.I REALLY ENJOY USING IT. IT BTTERY NEEDS REPLACING ON AN AVERAGE OF 2 ROUNDS.DEPENDS ON QUALITY I THINK.
